I was honored to direct 3 videos for the American Lung & Association + Sanofi along with the Minneapolis ad agency Padilla and the Boston production company Hold Fast. For these spots I wrote a treatment, wrote the interview questions, and conducted the interviews (backed of course by the writers and creatives from Padilla who guided the language they needed to hear on behalf of the pharmaceutical brand). We shot one story each day across three days, shooting on the Alexa Mini with Zeiss Super Speeds.

2nd Unit Director | Interviews
Client: Universal Studios
Production Company: Herzog
For this piece, Herzog brought me on as a “talent producer" / “2nd unit director”. It was an amazing two days on two sound stages at Universal, with some of the world’s biggest stars, where I conducted interviews, directed the camera (with the help of a technical director who sat at the monitor), and made sure we made our day which included a “junket-like” line of press. Many, many pieces of content came from these two days.

In 2012 I feverishly wrote and directed a 20-minute short film called Three Weeks. The film stars Superbowl Champion Ben Utecht as Charlie, and John Edel as Verne (the clown). The short was an official selection of the Twin Cities Film Fest and the South Dakota Film Festival.
