ABOUT
Teah Sarmiento is an executive producer who leads projects and drives new business in film and video campaigns for advertising and entertainment, bringing an artist’s instinct to every stage of production.
Her career began early—onstage and on camera—as a performing artist, appearing in commercials while singing and dancing in musical theater. After acting in her first national spot for Best Buy, Teah caught the film bug and followed it behind the camera, where she found her stride as a producer. From there she produced and directed short films that won awards at film festivals, which paved the way for her first real job in advertising at the Cannes Gold Lions–winning production company Stopp, where she helped the CEO in new business and edited a global spot for Adidas with the CCO of Chiat/Day over her shoulder. After Stopp, Teah rose quickly from post supervisor to executive producer at Blue Giant Entertainment, where she made short form content for Disney’s tentpole titles, including Star Wars, Maleficent, and Big Hero 6. Saying “action” to Chris Hemsworth while shooting bonus features for The Huntsman: Winter’s War, was a “pinch me” moment in Teah’s career.
Since then, Teah has built a reputation for pairing creative intuition with strategic execution, driving new business and producing standout work at shops including Nice Shoes, FutureDeluxe, and Wildchild Content. Her projects span global brands such as Spotify, Disney, Tiffany & Co., Universal Studios, and Toyota, among many others. For Teah, great production isn’t just about delivery—it’s about emotional resonance, connection and trust.
Though fluent in the EP hustle and a spreadsheet master, Teah remains an artist at heart. She is deeply hands-on creatively—shaping edits, crafting music tracks, collaborating with colorists, and inspiring the artists around her to push work beyond expectation. Outside of work hours, Teah continues to write and direct, plays the piano, practices hot yoga, and loves to photograph the natural and unnatural world around her.
Of all her titles, her favorite is mom. One of her children serves in the U.S. Air Force, while the other is both a zookeeper and a talented singer-songwriter.
